Assembly of assemblies?

The term ‘assembly’ refers to the assembly of electromechanical sub-assemblies consisting of a combination of electronic, electrical and mechanical components. These sub-assemblies are used in machines, devices and automation systems, amongst other things.

We develop and manufacture your assemblies ready for deployment to the end customer, meaning no additional configurations or customisations are necessary.

Our assembly operations are optimised for both small and large production runs, ranging from around 30 units up to several thousand units per year. This offers the following advantages compared with a traditional control cabinet manufacturer:

  • Provided the order quantities are sufficiently high, we will manufacture your products in a modern, highly efficient  
  • Assembly line production. Here you benefit from inexpensive hourly rates and high productivity.

We supply ready-to-assemble sub-assemblies that can be integrated into your production process without any additional effort. We handle material procurement, scheduling, storage and just-in-time delivery. Technical consultancy, expert alternatives to minimise risk, standard-compliant documentation and complete traceability are all part of our service offering. We tailor our testing protocols to your specifications – from functional and continuity tests through to optional high-voltage testing.

Our assemblies and components.

Püplichhuisen assembles electromechanical sub-assemblies for mechanical engineering, automation, medical technology and building services engineering: Equipment assemblies with pre-assembled cable harnesses, control panels with displays and control elements, sensor/actuator modules, distribution and connection boxes, as well as bespoke interface solutions. We integrate connector and contact technology, switches, relays, fans, valves, enclosures and mechanical mounting brackets.

Quality, testing and approvals.

Quality begins at goods-in with checks against drawings and specifications. During assembly, we rely on defined process steps and interim inspections. Final testing is carried out in accordance with your test plan: functional and continuity testing, pin assignment/pinout checks, short-circuit and insulation measurements; high-voltage testing on request. You will receive comprehensive test reports and full traceability.

We manage changes through defined approval processes, including documentation of deviations.

Logistics, delivery models and scalability.

Püplichhuisen tailors its services to your needs: from one-off orders to bulk supply under framework agreements. We coordinate forecasts and production cycles with you, and maintain safety stock levels in line with your requirements. Consolidated shipments, fixed call-off schedules and project-specific packaging and labelling ensure smooth operations. With EDI interfaces, VMI options and efficient customs clearance, processes remain predictable – both nationally and internationally.

From single-item orders to bulk supply. Framework agreements with defined order quantities and call-off frequencies ensure availability and price stability. JIT/Kanban and EDI/VMI models are available on request.

No. We manufacture everything from prototypes and spare parts to large-scale production runs. Any surcharges for small order quantities are based on the amount of work involved and are communicated transparently in advance.

Functional, continuity, insulation and short-circuit tests as standard; high-voltage testing is optional. All results are recorded in a traceable manner and approved.

Yes. We supply PPAP-compliant documentation on a project-by-project basis. We tailor our marking and labelling to your factory standards.
